Icona has developed visualisation and tolerance software that can simulate phenomena such as tolerances, dimensions, deformable materials, physical force systems and assembly constraints.
It is aimed at manufacturers of products in which the appearance and quality of finish is important, e.g. automotive, aerospace and consumer products. The benefit for the end user is a drastic reduction in the number of real life models that need to be built during the design process for a new product.
