Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc - Retirement of Dave Pratt as Chairman and appointment of Peter Reilly

18 Nov 2010

Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc (AIM:OHM) announced today that, following the recent successful restructuring of the business,  Dave Pratt will step-down as non-executive Chairman. Peter Andrew Reilly, aged 50, will succeed Dave and will assume the role of non-executive Chairman with immediate effect, although Dave, who resigns as a director immediately, will remain available to the Company for a period of time to provide advice should it be required.

The Company has been informed that Peter Reilly has an existing shareholding of 55,000 ordinary shares in the Company.

Richard Cooper, Chief Executive Officer of Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping, commented: "We'd like to thank Dave for his support and advice over the years, most recently as Chairman of the Company from January 2008, but previously as CEO. Dave led the Company from foundation through its IPO in March 2004 and has been instrumental in promoting CSEM technology to investors and oil companies alike. It made sense to consider this change following the recently announced re-structuring of the Group and the divestment of our marine acquisition business. Peter Reilly brings 22 years' upstream oil and gas experience gained within BP, BG Group, Enterprise Oil and privately owned Aquila Financial. His industry experience in tax, commercial negotiations and investor relations is a welcome addition to our board."
