COE Group plc - Delivers short lead-times on all products for all customers in UK, Europe and Asia

10 Mar 2008

COE Ltd, the developer of integrated video surveillance systems, today announced the results of an extensive upgrade to its supply chain. COE now aims to ship all standard product orders of routine size within one week. This includes most of COE’s IP and Fibre Products, many of which is now shipped direct from stock.

Started in mid 2007, COE has revised its supply and stocking to ensure much higher levels of stock availability.

Andrew Wallace, CEO, commented: “We listened to many customers and they value short lead times and quick response. We are delighted that lead times have fallen steeply in the last quarter of 2007 and now the majority of standard orders are despatched immediately from stock or within 5 days. Our customers are still using on-site spares holdings to ensure the very high system availability rates for which COE systems are famed, and COE has also cut customers’ costs by reducing spares requirements. The efficient design of COE’s X-Net System uses standardisation and modularisation to reduce back-up spares holdings. This cost element has proved decisive in several recent competitive wins."

COE’s Account Managers will be happy to answer specific questions on stock availability.
